Lisa Zea serves the Aanestad Law Team as the Director of Community Outreach, where she manages the production and distribution of resources and events, designed to inform clients and the greater community about the importance of estate planning.
Lisa’s 25 years of commitment to the Sierra Foothills region includes serving as District Director for State Assemblymember Chris Chandler, Deputy Chief of Staff for State Senator Sam Aanestad, High School Principal of Forest Lake Christian School and staff member of the Nevada County Business Association. Before moving to Nevada County, Lisa served as Deputy Director to Assemblyman Gerald Felando in Los Angeles County.
Lisa attended the University of California, Los Angeles, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. While at UCLA, Lisa had the privilege of serving as an intern in the press office of the Reagan White House and with Los Angeles City Councilmember, Joan Milke Flores. Immediately after graduation, Lisa challenged herself to fulfill a lifelong dream, earning her private pilot’s license by the time she was 24 years of age.
Lisa’s leadership and willingness to serve is often recognized by those who know her, receiving recognition as “Woman of the Year” by the California State Senate; selected as a Board Member of Forest Lake Christian School; and, serving as a women’s Bible study leader within her church.
Lisa and her husband Donn have lived in Grass Valley for 28 years. They have three grown children, Madeline, Hannah and Harrison, who enrich her life each and every day.
